Itinerary description
Alhama de Granada - Puente Don Manuel.
Catching the morning bus to Alhama.
Walking from Alhama to Alcaiceria and then onwards along GR7 track which follows parallel to the main road . Some parts were boggy and not well posted. A little bit of track here and there with 1 fence climb. Then through the national park on 4 by 4 track to Alcaucin. This took around 5 hours with a 30 min lunch stop. Relatively fast paced.
We were lucky enough to see wild horses and Ibex today.
From Alcaucin walk down to Puente via the back trail.
A Tiring but really rewarding walk. Excellent views.
