Itinerary description

A fairly short walk, which is only rated moderate because it follows a narrow track with exposure to the cliff edge above "la playa del muerte ". There are many good viewpoints in several places, both across the bay from Cotobro to Almunecar and looking down on the harbour of Marina del Este.
The walk is shown starting from the ermita de San Jose and Santa Rica close to the lighthouse of Punta de la Mona However this was the return leg of the outward journey from Cotobro.
