Itinerary description
You can start anywhere in Alora, but make your way to the Fuente de la Higuera, you will see a small water fountain beside a restaurant of the same name. The start and most of the trail is on a dirt road, except part of the descent which is a dusty and stony track. It would be easier to walk this in the reverse direction as it would be easier to climb up the dusty track rather than down. Great views all round from various points. The trail goes to the triangulation point on El Hacho but there is a second peak a little further on which you can include while you are up there.
