Itinerary description
Nice trail starting at the entrance of Val Grande National Parc in Ompio.
Walk wil take about 2 hours. On the way back you can stop for a nice meal (or only drink) at Refigio Fantoli. Typical Italian poor people foor as polenta with sausages, beef stew or cheese is served. If you are lucky, you can also get gnocchi or pasta. The refuge is ran by volunteers and waiting time can be long, especially in summer season.
Trail can be done with children, but be aware, it sometimes is a heavy climb.
