Itinerary description
This is a beautiful hike in canyon Rio Vero in the Sierra de Guara near Alquézar.
Park the car on the carpark just before the entrance of Alquézar.
Than walk through the village to the start of this hike. The first part has a rocky path and beautiful sights at the mountains. The second part, as you arrive at the river, it is time to change your walking boots. Put on your ‘water shoes’ for a refreshing hike through the Vero river with great views on the canyon.
At the third part, you wil walk on the ‘ruta de las Pasarelas’. A boardwalk and metal stairs above the river Vero.
After that hike back to Alquézar and have a nice drink or buy an ice cream at a small grocery.
