Itinerary description
Short excursion to spend a morning or afternoon in the surroundings of the town of Villanúa. Specifically along the right bank of the Aragón river, in what is known as Monte de Lierde, which a signposted route in the form of a PR allows visiting through a circular route. We will go up to Alto de la Rapeda and then descend through a shady and humid pine forest with specimens of fir, to return through the Lierde refuge knowing one of the northernmost holm oaks in Europe. A forest wealth that is the greatest attraction of the excursion, to which add a hidden treasure, not very popular and little frequented, a must-see given its proximity and which is perhaps the greatest attraction of the mountain outing: the forest by Paco de Lierde.
