Itinerary description
We climb steeply out of Amélie-les-Bains towards an old fort above the town. Then we follow paths through a forest, and we look for signposts to the Santa Engràcia chapel.
After more than one hour's climb, we reach the chapel, where there is a magnificent view over Amélie and to the Mediterranean coast. The chapel and its surroundings have been beautifully restored.
From the chapel, we return to a path junction, where we turn left. After only a few metres, we turn right and we follow a path which descends towards Arles-sur-Tech.
From the end of the path (Mas Draguines), we follow a road round to a bridge (on a main road) over the River Tech.
We cross the bridge, we turn right and we follow lanes back to Amélie, with the river close by on the right.
