Itinerary description

A beautiful descent from our house to Zubieta through wondrous limestone formations and hidden bordas, lined with century old oaks and through beech woods. Zubieta is then a delightful, traditional village to explore before heading back alongside the river to Ituren. The walk stops at the fountain to Latsaga where there is a return path to Ameztia and to our farmhouse. Please enquire. www.pyreneanexperience.com
NOTE: The track has jumped between the way marks of Kastineko borda and Views of Elgoriaga. From Kastineko Borda take the path behind it up onto the ridge top and turn left. Walk ahead of you and at the fork in the paths take the right fork and when you climb to the next path you will see the views of Elgoriaga. From the map the way is clear. Just 200 metres.
