My top 5 to read before the trail:
1. Take warm clothes- it could be windy or rainy, especially in winter time.
2. The way is up and down, expect many hills.
3. We did this trail in 6 hours, but it could take up to 8 hours, depends on your tempo.
4. The road goes through the edges of cliffs, that are very steep! So wear only good hiking shoes with good sole.
5. The views are very picturesque :)

I accidentally started from the end and went reverse. But I liked it even more! Did it in 4h with stops.

Great trail — but we did it in reverse and got a bad surprise at the midpoint (near the Faro): that part of the trail is permanently closed.
Beautiful beautiful route, with ocean view and forest. We started with the Ocean view part all the way to the light house, the path is narrow and a bit eroded in some places, not for children or on a rainy day, but walkable for an experienced hiker with care. The way back on the cliff top and in the forest is also very nice.
One of the most beautiful hikes i’ve been on. First part you start along the coast but beware there will be a big red sign saying the trail is closed. Just ignore that. It is safe as long as you don’t go on rainy day. I saw a lot of locals going on this trail. You need some shoes with good grip cause there are some slippery parts. Enjoy!
