Itinerary description

This walk is very nice. It is about 40 min to get to Anse Major from Bel Ombre. Then, to walk from Anse Major to Baie Ternay, it would take around 1hour 20 min. Anse Major is a beautiful beach and is a very good place for snorkeling.

I believe this section of the trail is overgrown and impassable.

Could anyone confirm the part between Anse Major and Baie Ternay is doable?

I tried following the mapped out trail but it wasn’t very accurate. I ended up finding the proper point where the trail at Baie Ternay starts to ascend the mountain, it was about 100 meters before the trail. you have to cross the little creek at a point where there some rocks that make it easier. The trail starts on the other side.

In general, the trail was quite overgrown but doable if you’re adventurous. You have to keep looking for red tape tied to trees or plastic bottles attached to branches to make sure you’re on the right path.
