Itinerary description
from 13.1 2020 - 4.2 2020, draw by hand, much more kilometers in legs. I think 400-500. A lot of water in desert, in man-made dams. I have filter and iodine drops for purify water. In January-February the weather was pretty harsh and temperatures dropped below zero overnight. I experienced two days in a sandstorm.

Tomas did you enter Rum without local guides? No hassles? The Saudi side of Rum is equally dramatic and beautiful. PM me for info about long-distance hikes in Saudi. I have been all over the country and I am working out a route to go off-road by sand-bicycle from the north-eastern border with Kuwait across to the north-west border with Jordan (Hafr al Batin to Haql), hopefully in March.
