Itinerary description
This amazing route is moderate to difficult Starting out from the car park head down hill in the direction of Arche De Ponadieu. Take the right fork on our route to the Arche. Once you get to the Arche return the same way for the moderate route or continue around for a more difficult route that follows a river bed. It is quite challenging in places with some scrambling but easy enough for those with seasoned walking legs.
Part 1 of a walking route in this area. We broke it into two hikes, but you could combine the two into one big route. Recommended.

oui sympa mais trop chaud a la remontee !!
Superbe destination. Le retour par la boucle n'est pas aisé du fait que c'est peu balisé et qu'il n'y a pas de réseau. Du coup. Je n'ai pu profiter des photos pour m'assurer. Au final, j'ai emprunté trop longtemps le lit du vallon et ai du prendre l'azimut pour rejoindre le sentier. Conclusion aventureuse mais plaisante et belle découverte.

The first part of the route was beautiful! We parked our car 700m further at a bigger car park (at the sign). After a steep decend, you arrive at the gorgeous Arche de Ponadieu. We decided to go further and take the more difficult route. There were some challenging parts but the signing was very clear. However, after a kilometer or so, the route became more and more overgrown and we had to work our way through bushes of nettles. The signing stopped completely and we had to rely on the photos above to trust we were still walking the correct route. When you keep following the river bed you will find your way back (go up at the bridge) but it is quite a challenge.
