Itinerary description
Starting on the road between Competa and Canaillas de Albaida. Keep right up to the quarry road / Mosquin. Take the GR 249 path along to Canaillas then turn right by the Acequia / alberca. Follow this all the way out till you cross a short bridge, then 50 m on look for a path down to the left through the avocado trees. Look for another lower Acequia path off to the right as you get closer to the road. Then you come out below the quarry. Take the left turn up and around.
Follow this tarmac road for 1 to 2 km, then the road turns into a dirt track. Look for path off to the left. Follow this down to the molino / Rio Cájula. Keep left, cross the bridge over the Rio Tuvilla. And take the path up to the left passing the goat farm and entering Canaillas. From here you can pass through the plaza or skirt the lower road around the town and up the Main Street to stop at Ramon's / Las Esperillas.
