Itinerary description
Although not long, this route provides marvellous viewpoints on the initial ascent of twin-peaked La Hoya. After visiting a little ermita, the 2nd half of the walk ascends on old lava flows to the pines. The return is notable for the terraced tiers of former farm-land and "eras". Duration: 3 hours

Aunque no es muy largo, esta ruta ofrece maravillosos miradores en el ascenso inicial de la La Hoya con dos peñascos. Después de visitar un poco de ermita, la segunda mitad de la caminata asciende en antiguos flujos de lava a los pinos. El regreso es notable por los niveles escalonados de antiguas tierras de cultivo y "eras". Duración: 3 horas

Moderate
Nice walk starting at the top of the town. The first bit the path is a bit rocky and steep in places but not difficult. Lovely views around the other side and then cross the road into a path through lava flow and back down through the terraces which are beautiful when in flower in the spring with almond blossom.
