Itinerary description
Round hike from Arolla to Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges.
The path gently gains height crossing high altitude meadows until Remointse de Pla Gra, from where the path keeps gaining height until Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges.
From Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges, there is a strong and steep descend to Lac Bleu.
From Lac Bleu to Arolla, instead of directly descending to the valley, we followed a trail marked with a permanent signal indicating it is a difficult trail. It indeed contains some exposed segments which are however secured with cables.
