Itinerary description
Start at big carpark in Arriate. Climb up road than along edge of gorge. Soon drop down to walk in bottom of gorge. In places slippy and needs care. But beautiful gorge, birds and sound of running water. Return on other bank until cross stream and path the way came. Final detour to bird lookout returns along road and strong smell from pig farms, so ideally avoid and return via start route. Likely ideal all year round due to constant shade. Nowhere to eat in Arriate after 1600hr so ate tapas at Cepsa station on Ronda ring road on road to Sevilla.
