Arroyo del Chorro Circular
This route starts from the Haza del Rio Parking area. It goes into the pine forest area beneath the Sierra de Huma where the El Chorro stream runs through (very dry at the moment).
There are numerous paths in this area, a lot of them in the shade.
The first section is downhill. Going round some bends we start to climb picking up the GR 249 and also the GR 340 (Camino Geológico Malacitano), eventually getting to the ridge, where there are two amazing very old farmhouses and also a threshing floor. There are great views from up here.
Making your way down from here, there are several paths. Take the path crossing over the arroyo over the stone weir where you turn right, which will eventually bring you back to the information boards which leads back to the car park.
This is a very pleasant hike with a good amount of shade 60-70 %.
