Arroyo Laurel Stream Walk
This was my failed attempt to do The Beehive Walk from the book - Andalucía and the Costa del Sol Sunflower Landscapes walk 16 page 108.
The path at the beginning has been totally washed away and farmers are fencing off the land and planting Avocado trees in there hundreds.
When we arrived to the old wreck mentioned, just past it was a new gate and the farmers there said we were trespassing. So we had to turn back.
I think this area of barren land has been taken in a land grab as there is a lot of money to be made from Avocados.
Going up the arroyo was very stony and we had to use stepping stones to cross over the stream on several occaisions.
