Itinerary description
I did this route in reverse, I took the bus nonstop from Gijón to Avilés, 30 minutes

Walk for the first several kilometers was through a park, then a few kilometers of walking alongside the road, and then you went on a hard surface path through farmland for a while and then up the mountain where it turned to a soft track as you did several kilometers along the top of the mountain, going down the mountain you came into a very industrial area and for several kilometers it was quite ugly
Oh and on a pretty good walk, I wanted to give my shoulders a rash so I did the walk without my backpack
