Itinerary description
This is a very good, but rather difficult route. Especially, the first 2000 meters you will make your way through difficult to pass bushes and climb over rocks and cliffs. Some route section are quite dangerous, so you have to be not only in good physical shape, but also careful. If you like a little extreme and difficult routes, then you will enjoy and load the calf and gluteal muscles well))
Because of this difficult section, I marked this route as very difficult. This most difficult section (the first 2 kilometers) can be bypassed by another easier trail (see maps).
Further, after 1800 meters of a difficult section, a good passable path begins, which is easier to follow. But climbing will still continue and you need to be prepared for a long climbing.
As a result, making your way along the crest of the mountain range, you will climb 2 peaks. All the way you will be surrounded by stunning panoramic views. Even in summer, in June, there are many greenery and flowers.
The total climbing is over 1000 meters. If you hike in the summer, stock up on water (at least 2 liters)
At the end of the journey, I recommend the Papoutsa tavern (need to drive 1-2 min), good food and a great place to rest after the route.
