Itinerary description

This section is part of the Anti Lebanon and Boukaat Loubnan Trails developed by 33North and Gilbert Moukheiber. Starting from the city of Baalbek, the section follows a dirt road leading to the highland of Baalbek. The main highlights are wine pressoir and the remains of an ancient archaeological city that still needs scientific investigations to dig its real history . Hikers will also enjoy a number of caves and cavities along the trail. Do not go further than the trail as the region is a military region and needs special permits.
