Itinerary description
This hike is definitely among the best things to do if you're staying at Bambuda Castle in Boquete.
The initial walk is on a paved road.
After 1.7km, we took a trail sponsored by Senderos Seguros, but it was a scam.
We got asked money from a local owner of the land simply for passing on his property.
So, we walked back and continue another 20min on the road to take another path which was completely free.
The hike becomes pretty intense once entered in the nature. The terrain of the trail is similar to clay so it gets very slippery if wet (and in this area it rains a lot) and the elevation gain on the last part is pretty intense too.
Overall not hard but not moderate either, depending on weather conditions.
