Itinerary description
This short walk is an easy to nagivigate trail to the Banghoek Waterfall. The trail starts at a parking lot and follows jeep tracks through the level foreground to the slopes of the Drakenstein range. Thereafter a well defined trail takes one up to the rock line and on to the Waterfall. There are a few other waterfalls in some of the other kloofs which one can do as an alternative or combine with this main Waterfall. Duiwelskloof can also be combined with this trail. Overall the trail is easy but it can be exposed to the sun so take a lot of liquids and sunscreen on hot days. The only exposed section of the trail is near the Waterfall but chains are fixed and stable, this provides support to reach the more level safe ground. Take care in wet conditions or just after rain as the trail can be slippery and the river can flow strongly near the falls.

Nice easy walk to a beautiful waterfall. Take care on the ropes near the falls.
