Itinerary description
Summer hiking route starting from
Bansko ski lift station (Banderishka poliyana) passing through Vihren hut and several of the lakes in Pirin.
Equipment: during summer absolutely necessary sun cream, a hat, good hiking shoes (do not try to do this without hiking shoes), mosquito repellent.
There is a difficult part after the second lake, where there is a lot of rock-climbing involved (climbing up and over big rocks).
Beautiful scenery, worth the hike.
Try to start early in the morning in order to get back on time before the lift closes (16:15).
