Itinerary description
4 hour trail walking throught an undisturbed mediterranean forests formed by evegreen and deciduous oaks and hazelnuts. The trail gives you te opportunity to climb to the Tibidabo mountain (516 m, the highest hill sourrounding the Barcelona Plain) where you can enjoy with great views of the town and the Mediterranean sea.
You have also the opoortunity to visit the Visitor's Center of the Collserola Natural Park and the Villa Joana:

The trail starts at the Baixador de Vallvidrera railway station. The railway line is the FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) one. You can take this line from the Catalonia Square, Provença or Gracia stations, all located in the downtown of Barcelona, and you reach the Baixador station in 20'.
Several springs along the trail (Visitor's Center, Tibidabo, Font Groga) and restaurants and bars are available at the summit of Tibidabo hill.
The hill of Magarola has also nice views of the northern part of the plain.
When arriving to the town, you can turn right and spend 10 minuts at the small and pretty hermitage of Sant Cebrià.
The walk ends ar the Montbau metro station and in 15 MINUTS, you are again in Catalunya aquare.
