Barranco De Lere ⭐⭐

WAARSCHUWING Hoewel de route qua lengte en niveau gemakkelijk is, zijn er enkele delen van de route die niet geschikt zijn voor mensen met hoogtevrees of die slecht ter been zijn. Er zijn enkele rotspartijtjes te beklimmen waar een zekere mate van behendigheid essentieel is.
De route start in het pittoreske dorpje Arico El Nuevo en gaat de eerste 2km over een rustige asfaltweg om daarna af te dalen naar de fuente van Tajo en de oude wasplaatsen in Arico Viejo , gelegen in de Barranco de Lere of Barranco de los Caballos. Een stukje geschiedenis van Arico waarvan de bron al bestaat sinds de tijd van de Guanchen, en vele jaren later werd er een wasplaats gebouwd.
We keren terug via de Barranco de Lere, maar eerst moeten we bij de splitsing nog wat verder langs de rechterbovenkant van de barranco om een eind verder via de terrassen af te dalen naar de barranco zelf. Daarna vogt een stuk van een tweetal Km dwars door de barranco waar u dus hier en daar wat dient te klimmen op de rotsen. Wie wat behendig is gaat dit vlot doen, voor mensen die onzekerder zijn en /of hoogtevrees hebben zou ik deze wandeling zeker afraden!

ENG/ WARNING Although the route is easy in terms of length and level, there are some parts of the route that are not suitable for people who are afraid of heights or have difficulty walking. There are some rock outcrops to climb where a certain amount of agility is essential.
The route starts in the picturesque village of Arico El Nuevo and follows a quiet tarmac road for the first 2km before descending to the fuente of Tajo and the old washing places in Arico Viejo , located in the Barranco de Lere or Barranco de los Caballos. A piece of history of Arico whose source has existed since the time of the Guanches, and many years later a washing place was built.
We return via the Barranco de Lere, but first at the junction we have to continue a little further along the upper right side of the barranco to descend a little further via the terraces to the barranco itself. After that, there is a two-kilometre stretch through the barranco where you have to climb a bit here and there on the rocks. If you are a bit agile this will go smoothly, for people who are more uncertain and/or afraid of heights I would definitely advise against this hike!

ES: Aunque la ruta es fácil en cuanto a longitud y nivel, hay algunas partes del recorrido que no son aptas para personas con miedo a las alturas o dificultad para caminar. Hay que escalar algunos afloramientos rocosos en los que es imprescindible cierta agilidad.
La ruta comienza en el pintoresco pueblo de Arico El Nuevo y sigue una tranquila carretera asfaltada durante los primeros 2 km antes de descender hasta la fuente del Tajo y los antiguos lavaderos de Arico Viejo , situados en el Barranco de Lere o Barranco de los Caballos. Un pedazo de historia de Arico cuya fuente existe desde la época de los guanches, y muchos años después se construyó un lavadero.
Regresamos por el Barranco de Lere, pero antes en el cruce tenemos que continuar un poco más por la parte superior derecha del barranco para descender un poco más por los bancales hasta el propio barranco. Después, hay un tramo de dos kilómetros por el barranco en el que hay que subir un poco aquí y allá por las rocas. Si eres un poco ágil, no tendrás problemas, pero a las personas más inseguras o con miedo a las alturas les desaconsejo esta ruta.
