Itinerary description
Pleae pay attention to Waymarks 1 & 2 - The route leaves the main track and climbs on a narrow path to a building. Go around the right-hand side of the building to arrive at a number of red crosses, painted on rocks. The route is sharp-left, almost doubling back on yourself to pass one of the crosses. I didnˋt realise until I arrived back home that this path leads for a short section into the restricted ´"Monte del Aguirre" reserve as my map didnˋt show the boundary. This may be what the crosses denote but who knows? I find it a little ridiculous that paths leading into restricted areas don´t have signs pointing this out. You may want to obtain a free permit online. https://centralreservas.tenerife.es/actividad/7 I saw no-one in this very remote area.

Head for right of house
Gollada La Fortaleza
Take the steeply descending path to left from the pass, I initially took the wrong path but quickly realised and turned round.
Cueva de la Paja
Just after a water channel built on top of a brick wall on the right, leave the path right and ascend the ridge.
