Itinerary description
Access to summit of "La Fenetre" (Window).
The track is part of Port Louis mountain range dividing Vallée Pitot (suburb of Port Louis) and Vallée des Pretres.
Starting from Cité Martial market fair parking area. Ascending up a tarred road to a "plateau" (soiled rectangular space) - which is part of Batterie Dumas (French defence line back then), then heading for the ridge. Rocky surface later on. No trees to hide from sun. Not to start at 10 in morning.

Hi, for the Window hiking. Is it also possible to left my car at dream price Vallée des pretres and hike it upper place.... ?
It is accessible to some extent from valley des prêtres. You may cross private unfenced plots of lands though...
