Itinerary description
This is Part 2 of our adventure that day. The start point is not our “real start” that day as it is really in the middle of the nature. We started from Cueva Bermeja and went down the ravine, climbing to the top of it via a different route (also on my profile, for the most part S37) and then we discovered the official sign posts of route S42 and changed our final destination from Cueva Bermeja to Santa Lucía via a really pleasant path. To get to the starting point we took an adventurous and occasionally almost not visible path, very steep, on the side of the ravine after crossing it while abandoning S37 we followed from Cueva Bermeja. There is another, clearer path one may take from one side of the ravine to the other… we preferred to take a shortcut via the ravine to save some time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT SHORTCUT. It requires some climbing occasionally.
On the other hand, this route specifically is so easy to follow, the route is obvious and with frequent sign posts. The ravine itself is a bit adventurous and this route, basically coming back from the ravine to the civilization (Santa Lucia) is reeeaaaly easy.
