Itinerary description
Lots of open access land linked together with wooded paths and tracks of Charnwood forest, the walk takes in Beacon Hill (just 1 of the 5 parks you'll pass through) which is one of the highest points in Leicestershire and the craggy heathland thereabouts. There are several tea shops in Woodhouse eaves and a cracking pub, similarly Newtown Linford also has several tea shops and lots of places to get ice cream. This is a great walk full of variety and interest.
