Itinerary description
The nature park of the Monte Generoso (https://www.montegeneroso.ch/en) is situated in the southern part of Switzerland’s near the Italian border.
We started our walk from the "Bella Vista" parking area and we followed the trail until the restaurant called “Fiore di pietra“ (stone flower) designed by the famous architect Mario Botta (https://meetings.ticino.ch/en/venues/details/Fiore-di-pietra-Monte-Generoso/139205.html). We did not walk to the top of the mountain as ice covered the path and we did not have spikes. In any case the breathtaking panorama was really amazing we enjoyed these moments
Walking back we were lucky we could observer serveral chamois (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chamois)
