Itinerary description
For this walk you can easily park your car on the big parking place of Belvianes next to the church.
From there the walk 'Belvedere du Diablë' is well signposted and according to those who know it is advisable to walk this circuit in the direction we took.
The first part of this walk leads you along a narrow but beautiful track from more or less 380 metres to the 'Belvedere du Diable', situated at 440 metres, which gives you a very impressive view into the beginning of the Gorges de la Pierre-Lys.
After that you will have to walk back some 500 metres along the same track until the path takes a sharp turn to the left and starts to climb, sometimes quite steeply on a very nice track to a height of 640 meters.
You will reach a wide track that you will follow for more or less 3 kilometers, all more or less on the same level, giving you some beautiful views of the valley between Quillan and Belvianes et Cavirac.
The descent that follows is a very pleasant one, giving you some nice views again and is not steep at all. It will lead you back to the parking place next to the church.
