Itinerary description
Benahavis mountain hike. From the bottom of the village up the track and round and over the bridge at the reservoir.
Lovely steady rise through the pine trees in a reserve area (we put the dogs on the lead for this part).
Bit of a steeper walk to the top and the ruins of an old house but great views of the village and reservoir from here.
Then back down to the village watching our feet in parts as lots of loose rocks - so poles are helpful but shoes with good grip essential.
A lovely walk with welcome shade in parts and you can stop in the lovely village at the end for coffee.
