Itinerary description
Drive lowest road thru lower town past gardens, then up & turn right...
Reservoir parking...walk across reservoir -at the end, turn up left inland by the pilon at reservoir, go alongside river -careful as need to cross twice & was full in March.
Then ascend, staying with river on your left side.
Big steep ascent later ...but NB cant find track back down frm the pilon atop (fig 8) so came back the same steep way ....& then found the trail going back up -but turn off to a new trail -starts at lower pilon, ascending down above the Goldsmiths/ Rothschilds ...
NB. this ends next to their gate & is private land!! Tramores
NB. Further on the road access gate might be closed!
