Itinerary description
This is a delightful little walk that you could easily do with young childeren.
We started from the parking place on the A7175 shortly before you reach Benahavis, but you could start this circular walk from two other places where you can park the car.
You start by walking across the bridge that gives you a wonderful view of the Rio Guadalmina and after that you follow a very scenic, park like path alongside an irrigation canal.
On the way to the farthest point, only 2.5 km., there are many nice views and various picknick benches and the walk is almost level.
Having arrived at the info panel at the road, the Via Brijan next to Capanes del Golf, you follow the green-white signposts to the right and after crossing the bridge you descend to the riverbed to the right.
The walk along the river back to the carpark also gives you very nice views.
We have the feeling that you will have the best walking experience if you do this walk clockwise.
