Itinerary description
Leave Benaojan station and start walking towards cueva del gate. After maybe 200m, take a very small path on the corner and zigzag up the hill to a gate. Pass through and walk along a small and steep path up through the oak forest. Pass a beautiful fountain. Carry on along the edge of the forest until you arrive a t a small log cabin. It's an open area with goats grazing and a dog tied up. Pass through the centre of this patch, following the trodden path and after 150m you will join a much clearer 3m track. Follow this track all the way along until you see Ronda in the distance. The final 2km are very steep and a bit more boring. But you end up in the barrio San Francisco after an approx 2.5-3 hour walk.
