Itinerary description
Fab walk! Park near Bar Stop and walk up past Molino del Santo, then turn left on a good track. After a few minutes you reach a gate to La Dehesa - pass through the pedestrian gate on the right and keep walking up the track, through woodland. When you reach the gates to a property ahead, clamber up the bank on the right and pass through a gap in the fence, then bear left, crossing a small rocky gully. You will then pick up a good path which follows a fence above the private property, and then climbs steadily up through woodland towards the main road above you.
When you reach the road, turn right and walk 5 minutes on the main road to the Mirador. Opposite the mirador there is a hidden track, go up there, through the gate, past a ruined farm, and keep going up the valley on a rocky path. TAKE CARE - as the path flattens out and starts to descend, you will see a grassy plain ahead and below you. Look for a huge rock on the right, and don't go downhill. Walk next to the huge rock (it's a bit overgrown) but then you will see the path which continues to Cortijo La Pozuela.
After a rest stop at the ruined Cortijo, pass through a gate ahead and then it's fairly straightforward.

Start at Molino del Santo
A few minutes after leaving Molino del Santo you will reach a gate to La Dehesa (see photos but there isn't a waypoint in this track). Pass through the gate and continue along the track.

Leave the track just before a private house and go up to the right.
Pass through the gate (may be open) and then bear up and left. Walk above the private house, next to a fence, and then you'll pick up a good path which ascends through woodland to the main road above.

Meet the road by km 4, turn right and walk along the road until you reach the Mirador

When you reach the Mirador de Benaojan, go up a rough track opposite and pass through the gate.

Pass through the gate and turn left onto the track
Shortly after this you will reach a large metal gate which says "Private" - either pass through the gate (if unlocked) or climb around the right hand side of the gate. Continue along the track.
