The Jo-Stigen trail (Jo's ladder) is the hidden trail this hunter used to quickly climb to the top to hunt for reindeer.
The path is NOT marked, and is very steep. In some points it is useful to use your hands, but I do not think we are dangerous or too exposed points, it is enough to have experience in the mountains.
The path rejoins the one coming from Memurubu, with adequate signs.
The route is beautiful and I recommend it.
With the parking is included the shuttle that takes you to Gjendesheim but on the way out we lost it and in order not to wait an hour we started on foot from the parking lot. There is a shuttle bus more or less every half hour.
