Itinerary description
Please notice that this hike is very similar to one other hike which is recorded already and I have followed.
I had some little extra miles walking around taking pictures and enjoying the view. Feel free to follow the original hike with 15km. BUT NOTE: he declared it as a moderate hike. I would say its on the verge to difficult and you should definitely be very fit and stable on your knees to do this one.
So the actual hike is called GR14. You follow the red-yellow direction signs. The added bit is through the mountains top (second peak on 1052m) and not marked out. Therefore it is even more important to follow the Exact route. I deviated once or twice from the exact route and really - there is NO alternative path. FOLLOW THE RECORDED PATH.
The hike is quite challenging at the beginning as you raise 500m in just 4km. After those first 5km you are rewarded with amazing views on miradors and a good while you walk literally flat with no raise. Be prepared to raise again over the rocky mountain site with almost no shadows sometimes. But once your up in the mountains you can cool down in the pools that are plenty of there. It's amazing and so refreshing.
Once you made the peak you come down the backside of the mountain and are rewarded with shaded areas again and a non steep loss of elevation. Unfortunately this doesn't last for very long.
Quite a long bit you walk downward on steep dusty gravel roads which will make you slip and fall if you're not careful. Please walk slow.
Back in the village you walk straight into a little Café where I would highly recommend to "end" the hike for an hour or two to enjoy a cold beverage and be proud of the hike which you just mastered.
Good luck and enjoy.

It's quite a tough peak this first one. Going about 500m in elevation in about 4km. But really worth it.
