Itinerary description
Bibihoni is a village in the administrative territorial unit of Vizazam, Lerik district. According to researchers, the original of this partially distorted toponym is Bibahoni. The toponym is composed of the Talysh words bib (quince) and honi (spring) and means "animal spring". The village is named after the spring of the same name in the area. Bibiyan (1917) and Bibiyoni (1961) versions are also recorded. It can be assumed that the hydronym is composed of the words bibi (Persian "lady") and honi (Eastern Italian "spring") and means "lady's spring". In the territory of the Khanliq village of Gazakh district, there is a water body called Khanim bulagi.
