Itinerary description

Biniaraix (barranco) taking the higher road option, this is all dry stone, once at the top of the valley you come out of the pine trees take a left over the ridge and into the next valley follow to Cuber reservoir from there it's a scramble to the top of ridge continue on this until another scramble for the first part down very vague track easy to confuse it with the goat tracks. Once in the trees there's a lovely forest track, one gate to jump over, second gate can be opened (best not to go this way during hunting season) the following signs back to Biniaraix. Best to park there (parking by school further on the road before route start) especially at weekends!

I found this to be a very difficult route. The last half is without trail markers and without the green line to follow on my phone, I’m not sure if I would have been able to navigate the top- which is an all fours scramble with plenty of loose rocks. The first half of the descent contains several scree fields that you’ll need to surf or sled down.

I’m proud I was able to do it, but it’s not for the faint of heart and you need to make sure your phone doesn’t die- or you’ll be lost.

As I mentioned in my comment. I think this was a very difficult trail - particularly at the top - where it is a scramble on all 4s and the backside return is a scree field that you slide, surf, and sled down. With no markings for the second half of the trail, the only way to follow was the green line on my phone, and I was worried the phone was going to die. I'm glad I did the hike, but it's not for the faint of heart and could put some hiker's in danger.
