Itinerary description
We didn't have much imagination for a better name for this hike, but as it's next to our walk 'Black Forrest Walk', this is still reasonably fitting.
The hike is starts at around 1300 meters and follows a relative wide and easy old road along the ridge of the mountain for about 2.5 km. From that point, you go down into the valley until you reach the river. You are now at about 1050 meters. After crossing a smaller stream, you go back up another mountain until you are back where you started.
So, most of our walks start with a climb and end with a descent, this one is the other way around. But as the walk is almost 9km, it's not a very long walk. We accomplished this walk in about 3.5 hours while taking it easy and taking a breakfast break half way.
The walk has some nice views on rice paddy fields and the different mountain ranges around you. As the hike is at this altitude, it will be a lot cooler then some of the hikes at sea level.
