Blanca - Abaran on the top off Sierra de la Carraila

The trip starts where the shortcut from Blanca ends. Follow the arrow to the road that goes upwards after 1.15 kilometers, you will se viaduct on right hand side. Take off from the road go under the viaduct and keep left on the outside of the road, then proceed through the lemon plantation. Follow the creek a little bit, then go through an old olive plantation. Then there's just a way to go up the mountain side, the goal is to come up between the two peaks. The best place to go is to hold to the right, simple places, one can follow the creek other places to can follow some old wildlife corridors. The trip up the mountain side is only 1 kilometer and takes approx. 25 minutes. When one comes up on the top and sees the quarry one must keep to the left and move on to the top. It is important that one stops regularly and finds out where to go. The trip down there along the top of the mountain range to Abaran is approx. 3.2 kilometers a little depends on where one walks and takes approx. 2 hours. If one stays to the right all the way north it's a bit easier to walk, on the left it can be very steep. When one comes closer to Abaran, a small valley will appear between two mountain ranges, which is nice to walk, there are several terraces with old olive trees. At the bottom of this valley there is two power lines that cross the crowd and down to the main road, it is a steep descent, but taking it easy is no trouble walking there. When one comes down to the main road, follow the road towards Blanca. After approx. 600 meters turn left onto the paved road. When one gets up on the hill, you goes straight up to the big stone on the right. At the stone take to left and after approx. 50 meters before one turns to the right again, then you goes up and follows the path. After a while, one gets along and then just follow it.
