Itinerary description
You could save time by taking a more direct route from the train station to the actual beginning of the GR92.(which is not easy to find,near the Santa Maria church ,so get a local map from the tourist office), this first climb out of Blanes is the hardest part of the entire walk, with very steep stairs to the summit, but well worth the effort as the views from the top looking south are spectacular !! other that that the walk is relatively easy all the way to Lloret, with beautiful views, woods and coves. Once in Lloret (after a great fish menu of the day) we took the ferry back to Blanes for 11 Euros each, one way, and then walked back to the train station. A great day out, highly recommended ."Trains,walking, food,wine and a boat ride as well"....Enjoy.
