Itinerary description
A rewarding loop from Ulaanbaatar and through the national park. The stretch along the river is pleasant, as is the ascending ridge. There is a short stretch of cross country travel to gain the saddle and descent trail. My camera ran out of battery just as I started the ridge, so there are only photos from the approach hike.
