Itinerary description
This is a very beautiful walk indeed. It covers some dramatic scenery, both along the coast and more inland. The scenery shows great variety and the track itself is breathtaking.
We parked our car in the Urbanization Puntabella where there is ample parking space and followed the Calle Lepanto which took us, after leaving the last houses of the Urbanization behind to a height of 80 metres. The Calle Lepanto gives out to a beautiful broad track with a beautiful view of the Sierra de las Moreras dominated by its mountain peaks of more or less 300 metres. After reaching the ruins of Casa de Cueva de Lobos from which place you have a wonderful view we continued to walk through the Sierra, which you can traverse following various tracks.
Once we reached the Via Pecuaria we followed it to the Playa del Hondón del Fondo and a little further to a point where you have a great view of the sea and the Sierra.
After that we followed the coastal path that leads up and down and up and down back to the Urbanization Puntabella. The last part treats you to some amazing rock formations.
