Itinerary description
After sleeping in a municipal albergue in Borres (which was way better than people on the internet said), and dining in a little restaurant run by an adorable lady, we set path to Berducedo via Hospitales route. The water is very scarce, and since Samblismo there was no water whatsoever. The route is at miments very steep, and even in spring it was very hot at some points. Lago is practicly a ghost town, so don’t get your hopes up about food and water.
The route itself is beautiful, so far the most scenic one on the Primitivo, and throughout the path we saw wild horses very close up. Amazing views!
Large parts of the woods have burned last year, but it was nice to see nature recovering.
