Itinerary description
We walked from the outskirts of Braga to Malgaço:
Braga -> Caldelas
Caldelas -> Campo de Gerês
Campo de G -> Lobios
Lobios -> Castro Laboreiro
Castro L -> Melgaço
We stayed in hotels along the way and walked most days from 9-18:00. On some days we are lunch at restaurants and others we brought own food because nothing was available on the route.
Overall it was an excellent experience and I’m keen to go back to Gerês. We did the hike in June which I think is a good time because weather is good and not crowded. In fact we didn’t meet any other hikers during this whole trip!
