Itinerary description

From Caboolture, take the Daguilar Highway and head towards Woodford,, keep driving through the township until you see a sign on the right hand side of the road that reads Stony Creek road, Turn right and keep going till you come to Fletcher road on your right , turn there and keep going till you get to Stony creek. From the Car Park follow the track past the toilets until you get to the creek, turn right and head upstream. Dry weather the rocks are very good for rock hopping, forget it if it's wet, it's extremely dangerous on the steeper sections. The hike upstream starts off being a bit boring but soon you'll come to the first of many Waterfalls, most of the pools are quite deep, great for swimming, some places, you need to detour around the Waterfalls as it's just too steep. At the end of the hike upstream, follow the GPS track and you'll see it takes you up to a ridge line, once on top you'll find a 4wd track, turn left and follow that till the GPS track wants you to veer left, Do Not follow the 4wd track any further. after you leave the 4wd track there's a bit of bushbashing but not too much, keep following the GPS track till you get back to the starting point. It's a worthwhile hike to do. We enjoyed it.

Thanks John, beautiful hike but done in the rain so treacherously slippery. See my FB post for photos.

Finally can tick this one off. Ant and I had a blast. Those rock pools at the top of the falls are incredible..... to say the least
