Itinerary description
Winter edition.
What a trail! More than strongly recommended small to small-medium spikes under the boots not to become a figure skater. Be ready that pace will be slower than your usual one because of the reasons mentioned hereafter.
First 6 km are a pure rollercoaster with never-ending ups and downs - your heart rate will bump up very quickly. At 2.3km definitely go and see the frozen waterfall - in winter the only way to get down to water level is by using ropes (somebody before had already put some and left for use of others) because the short section is extremely slippery.
The second part gets smoother but 6-8km is total offroad (pretty hard) with snow above your ankles (we were lucky as one or two persons had already left footsteps to follow). Then 8-9 km is under high voltage electricity lines and thanks to some car driven before the snow was a little bit pressed down, otherwise, the snow would be at knee level. At 9.5 km mark, you will be at the "gates" of private property. The owner allowed us to transpassing as otherwise, you will have to find a bypath. Be ready that they have 2 dogs without a leash and no fence. One of the dogs is "dog" breed with height above hips line :D
Then you get back to the main trail and up to the beginning.
